Gld-based device drivers use two sections, a generic part to interface with the streams and the DLPI driver, and another part to deal with the specific hardware.
Does not support QoS and Priority Tagging, but does support VLAN tagging via feature patch. Does NOT support jumbo frames (as shipped)
